This Type 911/83 flat-six is a factory replacement engine for a 1973 Porsche Carrera RS and was reportedly built and installed in a vehicle that was purchased by the seller from Manfred Niederhof in 2009. A subsequent rebuild was reportedly performed in 2016 and the seller states that it has not been run since. Equipment includes 2.9-liter pistons and cylinders, an RSR high-butterfly intake system, modified 3.0-liter SC camshafts, 930 cam towers, steel headers, and a stainless steel muffler, as well as a rebuilt and modified 019 Bosch mechanical fuel injection pump.
